|Info=David studied "Business Engineering" at KIT from 2005 to 2010. From 2006 to 2008 he was a tutor to the lectures "Programming 1" and "Advanced Programming" as well as for similar courses at the University of Cooperative Education Karlsruhe. In 2008, he worked as an intern with comsoft GmbH, Karlsruhe developing software with Java EE before doing another five month internship in the Financial Risk Controlling department of Daimler North America Corporation in Montvale, USA. In April 2009, he started working as a student assistant at eOrganization and as a tutor to the lecture "Applied Informatics 2". In Dec 2010 he submitted his diploma thesis "Design and Implementation of an Eventually Consistent Distributed Storage System Layered on Top of Cloud Storage Services" and is now, as of Feb 1, 2011, a PhD candidate and research associate at the chair of Prof. Tai. His main research interests are Cloud Computing (with a focus on storage systems) as well as Distributed Computing in general.
