Dr Alex Zarifis FHEA, has taught and researched at the University of Manchester, University of Liverpool and University of Mannheim among others. His first degree was a BSc in Management with Information Systems from the University of Leeds, followed by an MSc in Business Information Technology and a PhD in Business Administration both from the University of Manchester. His research focuses on e-commerce, trust, privacy and digital currencies. His research has featured in journals such as Computers in Human Behavior, Information Technology & People and Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing by Springer. His research has been presented in the conferences such as the AIS European Conference on Information Systems and IEEE International Conference on Computational Science and Engineering, CSE.
