Christian Gitte studied business information systems in Karlsruhe. Before he passed a traineeship and worked in the field of commercial vehicles industry. Among his studies he worked for a German car corporation within a leading IT consulting company. His master studies focused on business management IT systems. His master thesis investigates IT strategic challenges as a result of smart grids within a large German energy utility. Afterwards he worked as a business consultant inside the same field. Since April 2011 he has been research associate within the field of energy computer science at AIFB.
