Vortragsreihe zur Qualitätssicherung bei der Modellerstellung3/en
Lectures on Quality Assurance during Model Creation
Type of Event:
Vortragsreihe
Numerous validation techniques for models have been proposed. Still, too many modeling errors are generated, with many of them not recognized prior to the implementation phase. An error-free model is, however, crucial to derive realistic metrics from the model by simulation or analysis. Modeling tools that are currently available on the market today lack proactive support for users to avoid modeling errors. The reason for this missing support may be only spotty investigations of frequently recurring typical modeling errors.
One goal of this lecture series is to exchange experiences resulting from the creation of models. Special focus is put on the discussion of errors that can occur during the model creation.
This lecture series is financially supported by the KIT Competence Field "Information, Communication and Organisation".
