|Abstract=The value of the knowledge incorporated in an enterprise is more and more recognized and enterprises are defining knowledge management strategies to capitalize this assets. But up to now there is little methodological support for building, maintaining and using knowledge management systems (KMS). To remedy this we propose an enterprise reference scheme, that can be used to elicitate the requirements for building a KMS, to model parts of the KMS, and to study the impact of a KMS on an organization. | |Abstract=The value of the knowledge incorporated in an enterprise is more and more recognized and enterprises are defining knowledge management strategies to capitalize this assets. The value of the knowledge incorporated in an enterprise is more and more recognized and enterprises are defining knowledge management strategies to capitalize this assets. But up to now there is little methodological support for building, maintaining and using knowledge management systems (KMS). To remedy this we propose an enterprise reference scheme, that can be used to elicitate the requirements for building a KMS, to model parts of the KMS, and to study the impact of a KMS on an organization.
