We welcome Mr. PD Dr. Steffen Herbold as substitute professor

April 1, 2020 - In the summer term 2020, Mr. PD Dr. rer. nat. Steffen Herbold will take over a substitute professorship at the Institute AIFB. Mr. Herbold does research in the fields of Data Science and Software Engineering and comes to us from the University of Göttingen. He complements our curriculum with a lecture on "Introduction to Data Science".


Ms. Dr.-Ing. Maribel Acosta took over substitute professorship

April 22, 2020 - In the summer semester 2020 Dr.-Ing. Maribel Acosta took over the substitute professorship of the Web Science research group at the AIFB Institute. Ms. Acosta’s research is focused on the fields of Big Data Management and Web Semantics. In 2020, she has been listed in the top 100 of the AI 2000 Knowledge Engineering Most Influential Scholars.
