Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad for Lei Zhang
Berlin, May 9th 2015: Lei Zhang in the research group Knowledge Management has been granted the 2014 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed (non-government sponsored) Students Abroad, which includes a prize of 6000 US dollars. This award, starting in 2003, was founded by the Chinese government with the purpose of rewarding the academic excellence of Chinese PhD students studying overseas without financial aid from Chinese government. Only those with outstanding performance in their PhD studies will be considered by the award selection panel and no more than 500 young talents will be granted the award each year all over the world.
