About Me
Hello there! I'm Abhishek, or you can call me Abhi. Currently, I am working as a Research Fellow at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik and a PhD student with KIT. I completed my Masters in Informatik with a specialization in Automotive Software Engineering from TU-Chemnitz. My Master's thesis, done in collaboration with Volkswagen, concentrated on deploying neural networks on embedded devices in cars. My primary focus is on safety, which is a crucial aspect of deployment and a significant challenge in achieving provable safety. I've been working as a full-time Research Scientist at FZI since 2019, specializing in Trajectory Prediction.
Additionally, I am involved in projects that address challenges related to the deployment of automated vehicles in the real world. Most of my research is geared towards solving real-world problems; hence, you'll find my work emphasizing practical applications rather than simulations.
