New project to explore society in the digital transformation: digilog@bw

As part of the consortium "digilog@bw" led by the University of Mannheim, the research group cii will jointly investigate the influence of digitisation on humans and the resulting social changes with eight other university and non-university institutions.

The project focuses in particular on how to ensure that people remain self-determined in the digital world, how data becomes knowledge and how participation changes political debates. The consortium is funded with around 2.2 million euros.
