The Research Group Knowledge Management at the Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is a interdisciplinary team of computer scientists, mathematicians, industrial engineers. We are one of the world-wide leading institutions in the Semantic Web research community. Relevant research topics within the Semantic Web area include Semantic Search, Semantic MediaWiki and Semantic Web 2.0 methodologies, Linked Open Data, and Ontology engineering, Data and Text mining, logic-based knowledge representation, and Web services.
