The Research Group Knowledge Management at the Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods, University of Karlsruhe is a interdisciplinary team of computer scientists, mathematicians, industrial engineers. We are one of the world-wide leading institutions in the Semantic Web research community. Relevant research topics include Semantic Web, ontologies, data and text mining, logic-based knowledge representation, peer-to-peer, and Web services.
