Description

The research group analyzes structural reasons for high complexity and develops efficient algorithmic methods for the solution of complex problems. Based on graph theoretic, analytic and logic approaches, contributions for a better understanding of complex systems and complex problems shall be produced. In a next step, new IT tools are to be created for a better support of complex systems and problems. The application projects are: Intelligent Systems in Finance, modelling and optimization of business processes, creation of tools for teaching programming languages as well as the analysis of large electronic markets.
