Around 220 people belong to the Institute AIFB. Here is a first overview.

In addition to the following institute members, between 70 and 100 student assistants are active in the projects or as tutors for courses, depending on the semester. Our research groups regularly include visiting researchers as well as approximately 50 additional extrernal PhD students who work at the FZI Research Center for Information Technology and the FIZ Karlsruhe or are employed by cooperating companies.
